A VISIT to the Lake District by two Buddhist monks from Sri Lanka was described as "a rare and precious opportunity" valued by the Buddhist Group of Kendal.
Jacquetta Gomes, the group secretary, said the Venerable Mahalova Ariyadhamma lives in a forest in Sri Lanka, while the Venerable Mawarale Santindriya was making his first visit to England.
