Three teenagers have been charged in connection with a Carlisle off-licence robbery.
The charges come after an investigation into an incident at Foreways store on Blackwell Road, Currock, on Thursday night.
The teens were remanded in custody after appearing at North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Aaron Blackburn, 18, of Queens Road, Kendal, was charged with robbery and possess an offensive weapon in a public place.
A 17-year-old boy, from Blackpool, was charged with robbery and possess an offensive weapon in a public place.
A16-year-old boy, from Carnforth, was charged with robbery. The two boys under 18 are unable to be named for legal reasons.
All three are set to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on January, 6.
There was also a 48-year-old woman, from Carlisle, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, who has been released under investigation.
