Police are appealing for two men to come forward after a lorry crash this morning.
It happened on the northbound carriageway of the A74(M) near junction 18, Lockerbie, earlier today.
Officers are now appealing for the occupants of a white coloured Mercedes Sprinter style van which stopped at the scene to come forward.
Inspector Campbell Moffat of the Roads Policing Unit said: "We have been made aware from another witness that two men in a white coloured van, possibly a Mercedes Sprinter, travelling northbound, stopped at the scene at the time of the crash this morning.
"We would like to speak to these two men and would ask that they get in touch on the 101. "Inquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing and the Procurator Fiscal has been informed."
