Collecting food for animals and humans alike, these bikers are as caring as they come.

The West Cumbria Motorcycle Action Group spent their Sunday collecting tinned food for charity, with over 50 bikers taking part.

Age UK and Animal Concern both benefitted from the group's cross-county ride, with donations being left at each of the collection points; Keswick Central Car Park, Mitchell's Auction Mart in Cockermouth, Maryport's Lidl, Workington Tesco, and the final drop-off point, Whitehaven Golf Club.

With the support of each and every community, the bikers collected over £30 for the charities, along with "a good car-full of tinned foods" for pets and people.

Motorcycle Action Group member Anne Crayston was touched by the care from across the county, and said: "We just want to say a big thank you to everyone who came out to donate food and cash.

"Thanks also to Electricity North West, whose staff collected for us. And of course thanks to the marshals who helped with the day, as well."

She added: "Even though the weather was grizzly, we all had a really great day."
