MEDICAL staff have been praised by the family of a man who passed away peacefully at Furness General Hospital.
A thank you letter has been sent to Abbey View, which provides end-of-life treatment, by a patient's family.
In the letter they said: "Dad had the best care with you... I honestly don't know what I would have done without you.
"His last week was calm and respectful.
It has made dad's passing easier and my ending with him a positive one.
"I feel like I should shout from the rooftops about your unit because we only ever hear about the bad stuff."
