Setting fire to three wheelie bins has landed a Distington man in court.
Stuart Anthony Barrow, 32, of Bankside, indicated pleas of guilty to three charges of arson, at West Cumbria Magistrates Court last Friday.
The court heard on March 17 last year, Barrow damaged by fire three wheelie bins at Maryport, costing £20 apiece, belonging to Allerdale Borough Council, with intent to destroy or damage them.
Barrow was handed a six month conditional discharge by magistrates and ordered to pay £40 compensation in total.
