The annual Carlisle skills fair will return for a seventh year at the beginning of February.
It is organised by John Stevenson, MP for Carlisle, and gives young people a chance to speak to employers in the city.
Mr Stevenson said: “It is an exciting time in Carlisle with a number of investments and developments across the city including improved infrastructure.
“By retaining local talent, Carlisle businesses are better placed to take advantage of the opportunities available.”
This year’s skills fair, sponsored by Center Parcs, will be held on February 6 at the Sands Centre between 3pm and 7pm.
