A 41-year-old man who performed an indecent sex act in a police cell has appeared before magistrates.
Ryan Crellin, of Harcourt Street, Workington must attend an 18-month rehabilitation programme after pleading guilty to a string of offences.
West Cumbria Magistrates Court heard that on December 23 last year Crellin assaulted Tracy Nicholson at Workington and also destroyed a lamp, TV and TV stand to the value of £370.99 belonging to her.
On the same date he also assaulted PC Anson and damaged a custody cell and blanket at Workington police station, to the value of £107.98 and behaved in an indecent manner in the cell.
Crellin was also found to be in breach of a conditional discharge order.
He was ordered to pay a total of £212.98 in compensation, plus a £50 fine and £85 costs.
