A 56-year-old woman was racially abused by two teenage girls as she walked down an Annan Street.
Officers are investigating the alleged hate crime, which they say took place on Scott's Street at about 3.30pm on Wednesday (January 15).
Police describe the teens responsible as between 12 and 13 years of age.
One is said to be about 4ft 11ins tall, medium build, with long blonde hair and was wearing a long black jacket with a blue trim round the hood.
The second girl is described as about 5ft 4ins tall, slim build, with shoulder-length blonde hair.
