Motorists travelling on a road out of Carlisle city centre are being warned to expect delays - as more roadworks begin.
Heavy congestion is being reported between Morrisons and Stanwix bank heading out of the city, as temporary traffic lights have been erected just metres away from the regular traffic lights.
Drivers last night were reporting delays of up to 45 minutes on the road.
This morning traffic was said to be queuing again.
