Power has been restored to more than 50 residents who were affected by a power cut.
Fifty-seven homes near Whitehaven Golf Club were left without electricity for more than nine hours.
The problem was reported to Electricity North West at about 3.30am this morning (January 22).
The provider says the following postcodes were affected:
CA28 6SJ;
CA28 8SJ;
CA28 8UD;
CA28 6XS;
CA28 6XT.
Power was restored by about1pm.
