A leaked document has indicated that former Workington MP Sue Hayman could be in line for a peerage.
Outgoing Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's selections for the forthcoming dissolution honours list were leaked to the Sunday Times.
Mr Corbyn's eight-person list features Mrs Hayman, who was Shadow Environment Secretary until she lost her seat in December's General Election.
No-one is able to comment until the nominations committee meets and the list becomes official.
