The Met Office has issued another snow and ice warning.
The yellow warning covers all of Cumbria and will go into effect from 10pm this evening until 10am on Thursday morning.
The wintry showers will leave roads and pavements wet which could lead to ice forming on roads.
The showers will be a mixture of hail, sleet, and snow.
Areas on high ground could see between 5-10cm of snow fall during the night whilst other areas could see between 1-3cm.
What to expect:
- Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
- Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
