Employees will get the chance to meet the employers tomorrow at a jobs fair in Workington.

Rotary Club of Workington, Jobcentre Plus and Inspira have organised the event, in order to give people an opportunity to meet up face-to-face.

Workington Town Mayor Councillor Janet King will open the event at 10am on February 27.

Around 24 organisations have signed up for the fair, including Driver hire, Riverside Recruitment, CRS FM, Mitie Security, Walsingham Homes, Centre Parcs, Navy, Army Reserves, Recruit Hospitality, Adecco, Shortridge Laundry, Booths, Harbourside Products, 3 Lions Security, Lake District Hotels, McMenon Engineering, TSP Engineering, Highland farms, Mears Care, Forth Engineering, All Together Cumbria, CCC Apprentices, Centre for leadership performance and Cumbria Care.

Employers will be able to discuss jobs currently available and advice will be given on CV presentation, content and interview skills.

The fair is open to people of all ages and will run from 10am to 3pm at St John's community rooms on Washington Street.
