Road blocked
The A596 was blocked both ways after a lorry shed its load in a crash.
The road was closed between the B5299 (Aspatria) and Heathfield.
Police were alerted to the two vehicle crash shortly after 11.30am.
It involved a Hyundai i20 and a HGV.
There were no reported injuries and the road was cleared shortly after 12.40pm.
