A Workington man has been fined for driving without a valid insurance.
Patrick John Gilheaney, 43, of Birch Close, appeared at the magistrates court in Workington on Monday.
He admitted driving a Citroen Xsara on Curzon Street in Maryport without a valid insurance policy.
Magistrates heard the incident happened on August 5.
Gilheaney was fined £450 and his driving record was endorsed with six points.
He must also pay £85 costs and £45 victim surcharge.
