An Allonby man is offering to help the NHS staff and key workers by keeping them mobile.
Tony Herald, 32, will provide a free car recovery service to support the emergency workers if they find that they have broken down.
Tony owns a vehicle recovery service, A D D Recovery and Transportation, which is based in Allonby.
He said: "I'm just trying to help the community.
"We're all stuck at home and my recovery truck is sat here here doing nothing. I want to help out."
Tony is willing to come out and recover cars that have broken down which are owned by these essential workers.
He will be able to recover key workers' cars from various areas in west Cumbria.
These include: Maryport, Wigton, Aspatria, Cockermouth, Workington and Whitehaven.
Any NHS staff and key workers who are in need of being recovered should call Tony Herald on 07860279708.
