A COUNCIL is urging the public to report any businesses that are not complying with the latest Government coronavirus advice.
Allerdale Council has asked for the public's help in identifying any business that is ignoring the restrictions, which are aimed at reducing social contact with the aim of limiting the spread of the virus.
A spokesman said: "Should you see a business operating you think should be closed - for example, when you leave home for limited purposes, on a website or Facebook - then we would appreciate your help.
"Please forward their details to environmental.health@allerdale.gov.uk or telephone 0303 123 1702, so that we can investigate.
"Your details will not be passed to the business. We appreciate everyone’s help in reducing the spread of coronavirus." To check the restrictions, visit https://tinyurl.com/tkaexxl.
