Police are appealing for information
Police are asking for help from the community after dogs were found trespassing.
An appeal for witnesses has been launched, after a group of hounds were trespassing on National Trust Land, digging in the area.
The incident took place near Whiteside Fell, Cockermouth, on March 9.
It is also believed one of the hounds may have been injured.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 1375 O’Key on 101, email 101@cumbria.police.uk, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
