RESIDENTS from outside of Cumbria have been caught trying to enter the Lake District for a walk.
Cumbria Roads Police stopped a car from Widnes, Cheshire before entering the Lakes.
In a tweet they said: "From Widness/Cheshire to Buttermere/Cumbria for a Walk...That is NOT essential travel. We warned you that we are great at Hide & Seek"
