TIME is running out to nominate someone in your life who is going above and beyond for charities in Cumbria during the pandemic.
We’re looking for Cumbria’s very own Colonel Tom Moore – someone who has been fundraising for local organisations and charities.
The Times & Star is putting together a supplement that celebrates the people in Cumbria who have gone above and beyond to support charities during the pandemic.
We want to know if they have raised hundreds or thousands for the NHS, if they have supported their local food bank, or if they are doing good things for charity workers – they deserve to be championed.
Logan Paul Murphy, 14, from Seaton, has been nominated for raising money to buy hand cream for nurses. He has raised hundreds by performing live gigs on social media as well as releasing a song for Colonel Moore.
The proceeds of this special song will be donated to the NHS.
We want to shout about the efforts of people like Logan – help us support them supporting you. Email rebecca.henrys@newsquest.co.uk or send us a message on Facebook with details about all of the things that they have been doing.
