The Royal Voluntary Service has launched a virtual village hall.

The national lockdown activity programme is aimed at older people.

It is designed to bring people together to enjoy activities at the same time, keep people active, interested, and to have fun.

The site features themed video sessions led by expert tutors, TV and radio personalities, and RVS activity co-ordinators and volunteers also present some of the sessions, which take place daily.

They include exercise and dance, music and singing, relaxation and meditation, arts and crafts, baking, technology skills and gardening, with other sessions being added regularly. There are also links to Covid-19 information.

The Virtual Village Hall can be accessed via https://www.royalvoluntaryservice.org.uk/virtual-village-hall/ and at their Facebook page virtualvillagehall and on the Virtual Village Hall You Tube channel.
