A CHARITY, which buys life-saving machinery to support coronary care, is being supported by an insurance company.

The Red Sky Foundation, formerly the Red Sky Ball, has joined forces with Durham-based Castle Insurance which will not only be providing insurance to the organisation, but will also help boost funds.

The new partnership means that the family run business, which has been in operation for 30 years, will offer the foundation’s supporters and partners a range of special offers and discounts with a percentage of any new policies going back to the charity.

The Red Sky Foundation helps babies and children needing coronary care across the North-East and raises hundreds of thousands of pounds to fund various cardiac related projects and to purchase life-saving machinery.

The charity’s founder, Sergio Petrucci said: “We are delighted. Castle Insurance have been brilliant at providing our charity with the most comprehensive levels of insurance so that we can concentrate on making the huge impact on the lives of so many people and their families who care for cardiac related illnesses.”
