A TEENAGER has been banned from the roads for 14 months for drink-driving.
Dylan Cooper, 19, of Manor Park, Keswick, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared before magistrates at the Workington court on Monday.
Magistrates heard that on May 30 Cooper was driving along the B5289 at Borrowdale Road with 56mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Cooper's ban could be reduced by 14 weeks if he attends a drink-driver rehabilitation course.
He must also pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
