A popular farm park used its 12th birthday to announce it is reopening.

Walby Farm Park yesterday revealed that despite the "most emotional and stressful time" over the past three-and-a-half months, it was delighted to be reopening from July 13.

Posting on Facebook, a spokesman for the park said: “Walby Farm Park is 12 years old today. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support from our regular visitors.

"Thank you to those of you who’ve postponed your visit; we can’t wait to welcome you back for a safe and enjoyable day out.

"Although different, we hope the measures we have implemented in reopening our farm attraction will make it a great family day out.

“Thanks too to our amazing team who have been incredibly patient, who supported us in closing in March and are now back and raring to go for re-opening.”

Tickets will be released early this week for annual pass holder visits only from July 10 to 12.
