FOR ANOTHER year a summer reading challenge has been announced by Cumbria County Council, who want people to join the silly squad.
This year the challenge will involve playing games and and free activities from the website, when you complete the challenges and read six books you're able to unlock badges.
To join the silly squad you can sign up for free and have to read at least six book over the summer.
Once you have registered with the Silly Squad visit the reading agency book sorter. This will provide you with reading recommendations based on books other children have enjoyed.
All the books have been recommended, rated and reviewed by children using this website.
Reading is fun and loads of silly books are available at BorrowBox https://www.cumbria.gov.uk/libraries/online_resources/ebooks_audiobooks.asp
You just need your Cumbria Libraries card to start borrowing and and complete the challenge.
