TWO new booklets are for sale, focusing on Cockermouth.
The town’s civic trust has produced Discover Cockermouth’s Hidden Places and Nature in Cockermouth, both with photographs.
Hidden Places takes people on a five-mile circular walk around the town taking in lots of points of interest.
It was created by trust secretary John Dent.
Chairman Phil Campbell was responsible for the nature booklet which identifies 14 public spaces within the town where people can connect with nature.
“We decided that the pandemic travel restrictions might give people more time to explore what our town has to offer and we developed our ideas into two booklets,” said Phil.
They cost £3 each, £5 for the two, and are available in Strolling4Shoes and Firn’s Home Hardware.
