A road leading to a popular lake is closed for roadworks today.
Fangs Brow, one of the key roads near Loweswater, will be closed today (July 10) for Openreach engineers to carry out works.
The closure, with diversion route, is expected to be in-place for only one day, lasting from 9.30am-3.30pm.
An alternative route has been outlined, with drivers encouraged to use the C2030 (Loweswater), B5289 (Cockermouth), Station Road and A5086 instead.
A route for walkers and cyclists will be accessible at all times.
