Man charged in connection with violent incident in Egremont
A MAN has been charged in connection with a violent incident in Egremont.
Detectives in west Cumbria charged Jack Ward, 26, from Egremont last night (July 13.)
They charged him with using threatening and violent behaviour in a public place.
Ward is due to appear at Workington Magistrates' Court on August 10.
The charge follows an incident on Sunday night where two men were involved in an altercation on Main Street.
A man in his 30s was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle.
His condition is stable and it is expected he will make a full recovery.
