Changes are being made to the Seaton Food Distribution Centre.

From Thursday August 6 it is moving to be a food pantry and will open every Thursday, from 11am to 3pm.

The service will become a solely walk-in service during the Covid-19 pandemic and replaces the current telephone and delivery-serviced foodbank.

For a donation, people will be able to collect a bag of essential food items. People should bring their own bags with them.

Volunteers will staff the Methodist Chapel in Low Seaton and food available each week is dependent on how much is gifted from the public, companies and organisations.

Social distancing will be in place and face coverings must be worn when attending the pantry.

This service will not be able to provide deliveries.
