Animal lovers can rejoice as a rescue centre is re-opening its doors, accepting donations of every kind to support their residents.

Oak Tree Animals' Charity has announced the re-opening of its Keswick charity shop, on Bell Close, giving everyone the opportunity to help the centre out in any way they can.

If you fancy a browse, the shop will be open every Wednesday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Whether you've recently had a clear-out of pots and pans, have some old clothes lying around or endless board games cluttering up your loft, everyone is welcome to donate items to the store, with every donation going towards helping the cats, dogs and horses looked after by the rescue centre.

But do bear in mind, the shop can only accept donations between 11am-1pm on Wednesdays, and 1.30pm-3.30pm on Fridays, with a van available for donations to be placed straight into.
