A WORKINGTON woman has been given a community order for a raft of shoplifting offences.
Kirsty Louise Blacklock, 33, of Udale Court, Moorclose, appeared at the magistrates’ court in Workington on Monday.
She admitted stealing a Pot Noodle, one jar of peanut butter and one of chocolate spread and two bags of chocolate chips, worth £9.52, from Spar on Harrington Road in Workington on June 7.
The court heard that on the previous day she had stolen a 500ml bottle of Coca Cola and a bag of Tate Lyle sugar, worth £2.79, belonging to McColls, also on Harrington Road.
Blacklock also admitted stealing from Asda in Mossbay on March 7. She stole a bottle of Jack Daniels whisky, two bottles of Bulliet Bourbon whisky and two bottles of milk, worth £89.20.
Magistrates ordered her to carry out up to 12 Rehabilitation Requirement Days and pay compensation for the items stolen.
She must also pay £85 court costs and £34 victim surcharge.
