A reckless rider who has ignored public warnings issued by Cumbria police has had his bike seized.
A warning was issued to illegal motorcyclists by the force, warning offenders risked the seizure of their vehicle.
The proactive team stopped a 20-year-old-man last night who had no insurance.
The man was caught riding on a footpath in Workington at just after 7pm.
A spokesman for the police said: "We stopped a 20-year-old male driver of a motorcycle in the Workington area.
"The driver had no insurance and the motorcycle was seized under section 165 of the Road Traffic Act."
