The number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus in Cumbria since the start of the pandemic has now passed 3,000.
The total number of people who have a lab-confirmed positive Covid-19 test result is 3,007.
Public Health England last updated the figures at 4pm today (August 24).
It means the rate of infection per 100,000 is 601.4, which compares to the England average of 501.4.
The figures for each Cumbrian area are as follows:
- Allerdale: 396 (405.1 per 100,000)
- Barrow: 606 (903.8 per 100,000)
- Carlisle: 792 (728.8 per 100,000)
- Copeland: 369 (541.2 per 100,000)
- Eden: 215 (403.7 per 100,000)
- South Lakeland: 629 (598.5 per 100,000)
