Businesses are being invited to take part in a survey to assess how they have been supported by Government measures during the coronavirus pandemic and how they have adapted in the crisis.

Cumbrian accountants and business advisers Armstrong Watson is asking businesses to share their views in an anonymous, two-minute, multiple-choice survey, the results of which will be shared publicly to help support businesses within the sector.

Richard Andrew, Armstrong Watson head of accountancy and hospitality, said: “There's no mistaking that the hospitality sector has been hard hit by the pandemic and the actions business owners take now may have long-lasting effects.

"We’ve supported a large number of clients throughout this period and it’s important to us to continue to understand how support measures have helped and build a clearer picture of what more is needed to see the sector through.

“We're keen to learn how other businesses have adapted to current pressures and hopefully, by sharing this knowledge and insight, we can all put actions into place that will help the longevity and survival of those operating within the sector.”
