Fire crews came to the rescue to tackle a house fire.
A team from Frizington Fire Station was called out earlier this week to a house fire in the village.
It was extinguished using a hose reel jet, thermal imaging camera, a main pump and more.
Everyone involved, including the presidents, were safe and well, with no injuries caused by the blaze.
The crew was also called out to a collision at Moresby yesterday, with a team from Whitehaven Fire Station also in attendance.
Both supported North West Ambulance Service in moving the driver from their car into the ambulance, and they were then taken to hospital to be treated.
The condition of the driver is currently unknown.
