As celebrations are are cancelled for Halloween a spooking treat is planned for all those who still want to celebrate.

Parties are to be hosted with rotten to the core fun.

A Zoom party will be held on Halloween and people are invited to dress up and take part in some of the games.

A spokesman for the event said: “Creepy Cookie will be hosting a villain party on Zoom with guest hosts Descendant Girls who are ‘rotten to the core’.

“Spooky games, dancing and lots of Halloween fun!"

Then to finish off the celebrations on November 1 a spooky trail round Curwen Park will be taking place between 9am and 5pm.

It will be a chance for people to get on the trail and find some devious delights along the way.

A spokesman for Workington Town Council said: “Join us for some Halloween fun in Curwen Park on Sunday, November 1. But, please ensure social distancing guidelines are followed at all times.”
