In a last-ditch attempt to prove they can still be a family, Charity asks Tracy for permission to take Johnny to see Vanessa, only to learn the youngster is already with his mum. Then Tracy drops another, even more devastating bombshell...

Moira tells her brother Mackenzie that he needs to hear the truth about the past, although Cain takes a less conciliatory approach when he tells his brother-in-law that if he sees him in the village again, he'll be leaving it in a coffin. However, it seems no matter what bad blood there may be between them, Moira doesn't want to hear Cain slating her sibling.

Hollyoaks (Channel 4)

The McQueens' blackmailer is focusing on a new deadly sin – greed. Theresa fears this one could be aimed at her and asks John Paul for the money, admitting she's been involved in some criminal activities during her absence.

John Paul prefers to turn to James for help and together they leave a bag at the Folly for the blackmailer to collect, but they're shocked by who turns up.

James isn't just helping out the McQueens, as a suspicious Sami also recruits him to do a bit of digging into Kurt, who seems very interested in Verity's latest windfall (which has come courtesy of Edward, who wants to stop her asking awkward questions about his relationship with Diane).

The lawyers make some shocking discoveries, but will Kurt be able to explain them away to Verity and Tony?

He's then convinced he should confess his guilt, playing straight into Scarlett's scheming hands. She's thrilled by this turn of events - until Ned is released on bail.

Dipi is disturbed by her affair and decides it's time to get her marriage back on track. However, a row with Shane changes that, but when she goes in search of Pierce for comfort, she's disturbed to find he's busy with his wife – although it's clear he would sooner be in Dipi's arms.
