A LONE male suffered head injuries after he was assaulted by a group of youths in Maryport.
The incident happened at 8pm October 19 in the area of King Street and Senhouse Street.
The man had to be taken to hospital as a result of the injuries.
A spokesman for Cumbria Constabulary said: "We are appealing for information that could help identify the suspects.
"They are thought to be a group of young adults who have assaulted a lone male leaving him requiring hospital treatment for a head injury."
In August police previously appealed for witnesses following an assault outside the Lifeboat pub, Maryport, when a young woman was attacked by three women.
