STUDENTS across Allerdale supported Children in Need with displays of Pudsey Power.

Flimby Primary School raised £222 with their efforts. Teaching assistant Maxine Langley organises the Children in Need activities every year at the school, she said: “As long as I can remember Flimby Primary School have always supported Children in Need. She said: “Whatever date it is in November you can guarantee our children pull out all the stops to fundraise for such a worthy cause.

“Although things are very different at the moment here at Flimby we weren’t going to let that stop our efforts. This year we have sold Pudsey wrist bands, bought spotty buns and dressed up in Pudsey theme or spots.”

Ashfield Junior School in Workington held their own Children in Need event, raising £250 for the vital charity.

Maryport youngsters Krystal age 4 and her little cousin Kenzie, age 2 donned their polka dot pyjamas and Pudsey ears to join in the fun.
