RETROSPECTIVE planning permission has been granted for a meat supply business to be turned into a doggy day-care facility.

Allerdale Borough Council has approved proposals for the change of use of a meat supply business at Unit 4b on Aspatria Business Park, Park Road.

The application was submitted by Nicola Rear of Keylangs Fun to Run.

In the planning statement she said: “The business has been running for a couple of months.

“We have found that the service is being well used and I would like to make the change of use permanent into a doggy daycare service.

“I had previously looked at premises within the town centre and there would be nothing suitable for the type of business we have and with the parking facilities required for our customers.”
