BACKGROUND reports will be prepared on a man who admitted a spate of offending - two thefts and three criminal damage offences.
Gary Steven Petre, 45, of Rydal Avenue in Maryport, committed all the offences on November 27, Carlisle’s magistrates’ court heard.
He stole two bags from a named individual and sweets from a woman in Workington.
The criminal damage offences were also committed in the town. The first consisted of causing £300 damage to a vehicle window; the second damage offence related to the windscreen wipers worth £50 on another vehicle; while the third offence was also one of damaging a car’s windscreen wipers.
Magistrates adjourned the case until December 4, and ordered pre-sentence reports.
