AN ELECTRICITY firm says 75 per cent of people across the North West are willing to pay £10 more on their electricity bill a year to ensure can maintain the network and invest in changes for the future according to research.
The findings come from Electricity North West's customer engagement programme.
More research is now taking place as demand is expected to double by 2050.
Jonny Morgan, external communications manager at Electricity North West, said: “As we plan our investments for the future, that part of the bill could go up or down depending on the choices we make about where, when and what to invest in.”
