Police have confirmed that the body of a man was found this morning
Cumbria Police have confirmed that a body has been found in Cumbria in the early hours of this morning.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police can confirm that the body of a man was found in the area of Whitrigg, Bowness on Solway at around 3am this morning."
The man has not yet been formally identified but police inquiries are ongoing
Cumbria Constabulary's spokesperson said: "The circumstances are not believed to be suspicious at this stage."
