Flood warnings remain in place across Cumbria.

A total of three warnings have been issued for the county, covering Keswick Campsite; River Greta at Keswick Keswick Campsite, Rugby Club and Quinta; and River Eden at Carlisle, Rickerby Park, Swifts and Stoneyholme Golf Courses.

Flooding is expected in these areas, and immediate action is required.

A further eight flood alerts also remain in place this evening (February 24).

These cover Lower River Eden at Carlisle; Rivers Brathay, Rothay and Winster, near Windermere; Rivers Cocker, Marron and Derwent at Cockermouth; Rivers Duddon, Crake and Mill Beck in south Cumbria; Rivers Greta, St Johns Beck and Bassenthwaite Lake near Keswick; Rivers Kent and Bela at Kendal; Rivers Lowther and Eamont in the east; and Upper River Derwent, Stonethwaite Beck and Derwent Water at Keswick.
