Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a strimmer and a Little Tykes bike were stolen from a garden shed.

The burglary happened at a home on Everest Mount, Workington between 9pm on Tuesday, May 4 and 11am on Wednesday, May 5.

A spokesman for the police said: "It's believed that during the incident, the suspects have accessed an outdoor shed and stolen a garden strimmer which is orange and black in colour and, a blue and black Little Tykes bike.

"Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the burglary or has knowledge of the stolen goods."
