A NEW Young Entrepreneurs Market in Whitehaven next month has been launched by Copeland Borough Council which is inviting young traders to take up a free stall.
The monthly market will be held on King Street from Saturday, June 12 and people aged between 16 and 25 are invited to register their interest in hosting a pitch or stall to sell and showcase their wares, crafts, hobby or passion. The pitches and stalls are being offered for free at this initial launch stage.
The council carried out a public survey into its future market offering last year and attracted over 600 responses.
Copeland council’s Young Entrepreneurs Market, which is being launched on a trial basis, is first of many new concepts to emerge from the public consultation.
