This week, we hear from Oak Tree Animals' Charity about two adorable pets who are looking for forever homes in Cumbria.

DIESEL

Diesel is an 18 month old SBT X who is looking for a very experienced adopter who has the skills to continue his training. Diesel is a bright lad, and very willing to learn but will need boundaries to be set and followed. He is a lovely boy with a big character and personality who also has challenging behaviour in some situations.

Diesel is fully housetrained and could be left for periods of up to 4 hours. He will need an adult-only home. We feel he could have dog friends to walk with but will be best as the only dog within the home. We would not home him with cats. Diesel is currently in good health but he could have flare ups of skin and ear problems from time to time, which would be controlled with medication.

Our training at Oak Tree is games-based and positively rewarding in order to gain good outcomes. This works well for Diesel, and we would welcome enquiries from people who are willing to continue with his training journey.

For further details of Diesel’s homing requirements, please take a look at his rehoming page on our website www.oaktreeanimals.org.uk.

Do you fancy a challenge in your life and able to provide super-clever Max with the forever home he requires?

STAR

Star is 7 years old and is now ready to find her forever home having been at Oak Tree for just over a week. We are looking for an indoor home but would potentially home her with outdoor access in a rural area away from roads.

Star is used to a quiet, adult-only home and we are looking for a similar sort of environment again. She is used to being left alone for up to 8 hours per day and would be an ideal companion for someone who works and wants some company during the evening.

Star could live with older children (12+ years) but cannot live with other pets.

Do you have room on your sofa for this quiet little girl?
