A CARLISLE youth has been convicted four serious sexual offences against a 15-year-old girl - including two rapes.
The 17-year-old defendant had denied four allegations but was convicted after a trial.
The four guilty verdicts were for the following offences: two counts of rape; one serious sexual assault; and one count of inciting the same girl to engage in sexual activity.
District Judge John Temperley adjourned sentencing until August 13 and ordered that background reports are prepared on the defendant.
The teenager was granted bail on condition that he has no contact with the girl who was his victim.
The youth's identity is protected by law.
