The Office of Product Safety and Standards (OPSSS) is providing guidance for consumers on how to stay safe when buying summer products, like sunglasses, chargers, and immersion heaters for paddling pools.
The OPSS has warned that some “so-called bargains are harmful and could cause injuries that can be severe”.
People are being warned that some bargain electrical goods like immersion heaters and chargers can be at risk of overheating, catching fire, or causing electrocution.
